Miami-Dade police seek man captured on surveillance video in supermarket shooting

Gunman opened door, began shooting inside, police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for a man who was captured on surveillance video walking in the area where another man was fatally shot.

The shooting was reported at 11:50 p.m. Saturday inside Mr. Mike's Supermarket #1 at 4701 NW 32nd Ave.

Police said the victim, Tavoris Wilson, 31, was inside the store with several acquaintances when the gunman opened the door and began shooting.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced Wilson dead at the scene.

Surveillance video captured a man who is believed to be the gunman.
