MIAMI – A woman was shot and killed early Thursday in an alley behind a Miami gas station.
The shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m. behind a Sonoco gas station near Northwest 36th Street and Northwest Ninth Court.
Miami police Officer Yelitza Cedano said the woman was dead when officers arrived. She said the woman was shot multiple times in the face.
Cedano said there was no information about the shooter.
"Only that the suspect was wearing khaki pants and a gray shirt," Cedano said.
Police combed the area in search of evidence and reviewed surveillance video from the gas station.
The victim's identity hasn't been released.
