MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police were investigating a shooting in South Beach early Saturday morning.
Police officers kept crime scene tape up to block access to an area of 14th Street between Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive.

Several residents said they heard the shots. Some at 1390 Ocean Drive feared for their safety.
The Ocean Court alleyway, The Winter Haven Hotel, the South Beach Plaza Hotel, The Orchid House Hotel, the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse and the Collins Condominium complex are also in the area.
