TAVERNIER, Fla. – A Key Largo man was arrested Wednesday after he stole his employer's truck, which had a trailer and a Bobcat attached to it, Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.
Herrin said Manuel Hernandez, 18, stole the Ford F-450 truck from his employer's Tavernier home on Oct. 30.

The victim told deputies that Hernandez was washing his vehicle, which had an equipment trailer and a 2016 Bobcat on it.
He said he went upstairs and came back outside to find Hernandez and his truck missing.
Herrin said the victim and deputies drove around, searching for the vehicle and the victim found it at a Publix in Key Largo.
Herrin said the owner confronted Hernandez, and Hernandez ran away.
The truck and equipment were recovered with no damage.
An arrest warrant was issued for Hernandez, who was picked up Nov. 10 in Miami-Dade County.
He was transferred Wednesday to Monroe County, where he faces three counts of grand theft.
