Silver Chrysler may be linked to several Miami robberies, shootings, police say

Police haven't definitively made link, any arrests

MIAMI – Miami police may have linked a silver Chrysler 200 to several crimes in the city.

A woman told police she noticed the vehicle tailgating her Oct. 24 and told police that the driver then turned to her and said, "What’s up?"

That’s when the passenger pointed a silver handgun at the victim, who sped off as the woman fired three shots at her.

Police said they found a silver Chrysler on Nov. 1 in southwest Miami-Dade County and may have linked it to at least three other crimes.

An Oct. 22 surveillance video showed three cousins walking near Roberto Clemente Park when a woman jumps out of a vehicle, robs and shoots at the trio. Police said she got away in the silver Chrysler.

"It was a miracle because I thought she was going to kill us right there," one of the victims said.

Surveillance video from Oct. 5 shows a silver Chrysler parked at a gas pump where police said a man and a woman robbed a man at gunpoint.

The driver then came to an area gas station and used a stolen credit card.

On Oct. 12, another incident happened. This time, three friends were walking in the 100 block of Southwest 12th Street when an armed man shot and robbed them.

Police won't say definitively that the car they've impounded is the same one seen in the videos. Police also have not made any arrests.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-493-TIPS.
