MIAMI – A worker who was injured in a construction accident was lowered to the ground from the top floor of a building under construction.
The construction accident happened Tuesday morning at Northeast Second Avenue and Northeast 29th Street.
Miami Department of Fire-Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the worker was pinned under a forming wall that fell on him on the 12th floor, injuring his leg.
Sky 10 was above the scene as the worker was placed onto a stretcher and lowered to the ground by a crane.
The man was then placed into an ambulance and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in fair condition.
No other injuries were reported.
