MIAMI – A man who was armed with a 2-by-4 inch piece of wood robbed a CVS Pharmacy earlier this week in Miami, authorities said.
The robbery was reported at 11:50 p.m. Monday at the CVS at 888 Biscayne Blvd.

An employee told police that she saw a man entering the store with a piece of wood. She said he approached her and demanded all of the money from the cash register.
Police said the woman complied with the robber's demands and gave him about $580 from the cash register.
