NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 19-year-old woman was injured during a Friday afternoon shooting in North Miami Beach, according to authorities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to Northeast 13th Avenue and 159th Street near Sauls Park.

Paramedics took her to Aventura Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The North Miami Beach Police Department was investigating the shooting and was asking the public to avoid the area of Northeast 162nd Street and 18th Avenue.
