FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A body has washed up on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, police said.
The body was discovered shortly before 8:30 a.m. Friday on the sand near Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.

Sky 10 was above the beach as crime scene investigators covered the body with a tent.
The body appeared to be that of a shirtless man wearing blue pants.
Police had no other information.
