MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A passenger was rescued from a cruise ship late Thursday night off the coast of Miami Beach.

Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas cruise ship was about four miles off Miami Beach when the 55-year-old woman began experiencing a medical condition that required her immediate removal.

Miami firefighters were called and rescued the woman.

The North Carolina woman was taken to Bayside marina, where paramedics took her to a nearby hospital.
