Univision's 'El Gordo' wants to broadcast from Cuba

Raúl De Molina tells Page Six he applied for Cuban visa

MIAMI – Univision's Raúl De Molina left Cuba when he was 10 years old. Now the Spanish-language entertainment news anchor wants to host his show "El Gordo y La Flaca" from Havana, Cuba, according to Page Six

Molina's father, Raúl De Molina Sr., was a political prisoner on the socialist island for about 24 years.

The 57-year-old former paparazzi and author said he applied for a Cuban visa, but Cuban officials denied it.  He said he is not giving up. 

Molina will be hosting Univision's NYE party from Times Square.
