2 men rob victim inside his Miami home, police say

Victim was taking care of 2-year-old daughter at the time

MIAMI – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding two men who robbed a man inside his home.

The incident happened around 11:47 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 6300 block of Southwest 139th Court.

Investigators said the 30-year-old victim was taking care of his 2-year-old daughter at home when he heard a noise coming from downstairs.

Police said the victim opened the bedroom door and was confronted by two people. One person was armed with a firearm.

The duo ordered the victim back into his room, where he was tied up. Police said one of them remained with the victim while the other person ransacked the home.

The duo fled in a silver BMW with an undetermined amount of property, police said. One person is described as 30 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds. The other person is described as 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

The victim and his daughter were not hurt in the incident, police said.
