New Year's baby, Mount Sinai's first baby of 2017

MIAMI – Mount Sinai Medical Center's first baby of 2017 was born at 12:48 a.m. 

Yefry Medina was born to mom Tatiana Medina, weighs 7 pounds and 13 ounces and is 19.88 inches long. 

Yefry shares his birthday with a baby who was born at Jackson South at 12:32 a.m.

Hospital officials said the baby born in Jackson South was the first baby born in Miami-Dade County in the new year.
