PALM BEACH, Fla. ā€“ A Clearwater woman was arrested Friday after she sneaked onto President Donald Trump's private Mar-a-Lago club shortly before his inauguration and smeared bananas on cars, police said.

Weidman was confronted by security guards, who called police.

She told officers she wanted to be arrested because no one was paying attention to her claim of being cyber attacked, an arrest report said.

Weidman faces a charge of misdemeanor trespassing.

Because Trump wasn't at the ritzy club, the Secret Service wasn't involved.

Weidman was later released from jail on her own recognizance.
