COLUMBUS, Miss. – A fast food worker was arrested after allegedly smearing her own menstrual blood on a hamburger and then serving it to a customer.
Sky Juliett Samuel, 18, turned herself in Monday and charged with intentionally serving contaminated food.

USA Today reports Samuel was working at Jack's Family Restaurant in Columbus, Miss. on Jan. 7 when her co-worker saw smear blood and saliva on the sandwich.
According to WCBI, the incident began receiving attention after the co-worker's mother posted the story on Facebook.
Samuel faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
