MIAMI – Miami police are searching for a man who was captured on surveillance video stealing an iPhone Plus from a cellphone store.
The theft was reported at 7:25 p.m. Jan. 17 at Metro PCS at 1358 Southwest Eighth St.
Police said the man browsed the store before he ripped one of the iPhones from its display in the showroom.
He then ran out of the store in an unknown direction.
The phone is valued at $770.
Anyone with information about the thief's identity is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
