Jerry Sandusky's son arrested on child sex abuse charges

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Jeffrey Sandusky, son of former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, has been arrested on child sex charges.

The younger Sandusky, 41, was arraigned Monday afternoon in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and charged with 14 counts, including criminal solicitation and corruption of minors.

Police began investigating in November after claims a child had received texts from Jeffrey Sandusky that included naked photographs.

Pennsylvania State Police say Sandusky was dating the child's mother at the time.

The child's father notified police of the texts sent to his son.

Sandusky is the son of Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State football coach who was convicted of child sex abuse.

Bail for Jeffrey Sandusky was set at $200,000.
