MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Three children were injured in a crash Thursday morning on the Palmetto Expressway.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the children were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The northbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway were shut down at the Dolphin Expressway ramp while a medical helicopter landed on the highway.
Traffic was diverted from the new ramp to the old ramp during the rescue.
The eastbound ramp off the Palmetto Expressway has since reopened.
