Key Largo man accused of stealing $660 drill from where he works

Deputies say Jerry Duckworth seen on surveillance video jumping fence

KEY LARGO, Fla. – A Key Largo man was arrested Friday, accused of stealing a pricey tool from the business where he works.

Jerry Duckworth, 37, works for All American Towing & Tires in Key Largo. The owner called the Monroe County Sheriff's Office to report an electric drill worth $660 missing from his business.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Becky Herrin said surveillance video showed Duckworth jumping the fence at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday and stealing the drill.

A warrant was issued for Duckworth's arrest Friday. He was booked into jail on charges of burglary and grand theft.
