Nonverbal man reported missing from group home in Fort Lauderdale

Dieudonne Remy, 31, suffers from psychosis, police say

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are asking for the public's help to find a man who was reported missing earlier this week from a group home.

Dieudonne Remy, 31, was last seen Monday at a group home in the 1400 block of Northwest 21st Street.

Police said Remy suffers from psychosis and is nonverbal. Authorities said he is capable of speaking but doesn't.

Remy was recently relocated to the group home and is not familiar with the city of Fort Lauderdale, police said.

Remy was last seen wearing blue pants and a white T-shirt.
