It's unclear whether the robbery is related to a similar incident that was reported last month at Peoples Pawn & Jewelry, on Southwest 30th Avenue near Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Pembroke Park.

BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter said one of two men pulled out a gun during the March 29 robbery and ordered the staff to get on the floor while the second man shattered the glass display cases and threw jewelry into a plastic bin.

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call the BSO at 954-321-4738 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
