LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – A $25,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the 2012 killing of a man in Lauderdale Lakes, the Broward Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday.
BSO spokeswomen Gina Carter and Veda Coleman-Wright said an additional $22,000 was offered by concerned residents of Broward County in addition to a $3,000 reward offered by Broward Crime Stoppers.

Authorities said Marquel McCormes, 29, was shot Sept. 1, 2012, outside a home in Lauderdale Lakes.
Deputies said he and a group of friends were arriving home from the FME Club in the 4200 block of State Road 7 when McCormes was shot.
Deputies said he collapsed on his friend’s kitchen floor and had blood coming from his mouth.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Florida Medical Center, where he died less than an hour later.
Detectives said it's unclear whether a dispute at the club or elsewhere led to the shooting.
