NEW ZEALAND – A Playboy model is in hot water after stripping down to her birthday suit on the top of a sacred mountain.
Jaylene Cook posed for a picture in the buff as she stood at the summit of Mount Taranaki in New Zealand following a 12-hour hike.

"This was BY FAR the hardest thing I have ever done! Both mentally and physically," Cook wrote when she posted the image to Instagram. "2 minutes out of the car park I was already hurting, sweating and ready to turn back But it's amazing what you can accomplish with the encouragement and support of your partner!"
However, locals believe the nude picture was culturally insensitive to the Maori culture as the top of the volcano is considered sacred.
The BBC reports locals claim the volcano is considered the burial ground of one of the tribe's ancestors. Only recently have tourists begun climbing to the top of Mount Taranaki, which had previously been done only for ceremonial purposes.
"We simply ask people to please be respectful," Tribe spokesman Dennis Ngawhare told the BBC. "This latest case is just another really annoying example where someone obviously didn't know how to behave here."
Others posted negative comments on Cook's Instagram post which currently has over 11,500 likes.
Cook defended herself to a local paper, saying that she and her photographer boyfriend believe that had been "quite respectful" and that "being nude is not something that is offensive in any way."
