Teen arrested in Miami armed robbery case

MIAMI – A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery in which a woman was pistol-whipped and shot, Miami police said.

The mugging that took place shortly after 6:30 p.m.  March 27 in the 20th block of Northwest 34th Street. 

Police believe Joshua Campos approached the victim and demanded her belongings at gunpoint.

The 25-year-old victim was shot in the leg and pistol-whipped in the head when she said she didn’t have any money, police said. Her phone was also stolen.
