MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A homeless woman who escaped from Miami-Dade police officers on Wednesday is also accused of stealing a wallet from a man, authorities said.

Sky 10 was above Northwest 10th Avenue and 77th Street shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday as Sattera Laroche, 34, was apprehended.

According to an arrest report, Laroche jumped into a man's car shortly after 4 p.m. and ordered him to drive around the corner.

The man initially complied with her orders but then ordered her out of his car when he noticed that she wasn't armed, the report said.

Police said Laroche snatched the man's wallet from the center console and ran into a nearby supermarket.

The man found his wallet on the street, but $100 in cash was missing.

Police arrested Laroche but said she moved the handcuffs to the front while in the back of a police cruiser and ran away.

A perimeter was established in the area, and Laroche was arrested after an officer spotted her coming out of an abandoned home.

Police said Laroche was combative, spitting at officer and kicking them while being apprehended.

Police said Laroche also spit at a sergeant inside an interview room at the police station.

Laroche faces charges of escape, battery on an officer, tampering with physical evidence, petty theft, resisting an officer and burglary.
