MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A video showed a man who was only wearing socks. He was walking around a busy Miami International Airport on Friday.
A woman who claimed to have seen the man walking around Concourse G wrote on Twitter that when she saw him taking off his shirt she was scared.
"I ran thinking he was going to do something crazy," she wrote.
Miami-Dade police officers detained the man and took him to Jackson Memorial Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation under the state's Baker Act, which allows police officers to detain someone for up to 72 hours.
