Tiger Woods arrested on DUI charge in Jupiter

Golfer arrested Monday morning

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – Golfer Tiger Woods was arrested Monday morning on a charge of driving under the influence in Jupiter, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said. 

Woods was taken into custody at about 3 a.m. on Military Trail South of Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter police spokeswoman Kirstin Rightler said. 

Woods' home on Jupiter Island is in the other direction of where he was arrested and his restaurant, The Woods, is about seven to 10 minutes away. 

Woods was released at 10:50 a.m.
