MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One man was killed and another man was injured Friday night in a shooting in Kendall, police said.
Miami-Dade police said officers were called to an incident at 14801 Jackson St.
When officers arrived, they were approached by a 42-year-old woman, her 6-year-old daughter and a 53-year-old man.
Officers entered the home and found a 39-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the torso. He was taken to Jackson South Community Hospital in stable condition.
Another man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation.
