Surveillance video captures teens stealing backpack from car outside Target

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Surveillance video shows three teenagers stealing a backpack last month from a vehicle that was parked outside a Target store in Deerfield Beach.

The theft was reported May 24 outside the Target at 1200 S. Federal Highway.

Deputies said the thieves, who were riding bicycles in the parking lot, spotted the backpack inside a car and decided to steal it.

The video shows the thieves leaving the Target store shortly after the incident, deputies said. 

Anyone with information about the thieves' identities is asked to call deputies at 954-422-5829 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
