BARABOO, Wis. – A Circus World elephant got loose Friday morning and decided to take a stroll through a Baraboo, Wisconsin, neighborhood, WISC-TV reports.
Sauk County officials said the elephant wandered around the neighborhood before law enforcement got in touch with the trainer.
Jaime Lynn posted several photos on Facebook and said in a post, "She just strolled thru (sic) yards and decided to eat the leaves from the neighbors (sic) trees and plants."
WISC reports a Circus World trainer caught up with the elephant and safely escorted it back.
