Alligator attacks man on Florida golf course

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A man suffered injuries to his arm after being attacked by an alligator on a Florida golf course Friday afternoon.

The 50-year-old man was diving for golf balls at the Rotunda Golf and Country Club just north of Fort Myers when he was attacked around 1 p.m.

WWSB reports the man was able to free himself, but suffered injuries to his left arm.

Fire rescue crews transported the man via ambulance to the hospital.

No information has been released on the man's condition.
