Back's DNA was found on a water bottle at the scene.

Police found the bottle with the bull's leg and a saw covered with dried blood in, according to arrest affidavit.

Back is now facing a charge of grand theft of livestock and is being held on $44,000 bail.

The Post reports the bull's owner found the leg on his property, but an additional search failed to turn up any of the animal's other remains.

Crime Stoppers received a tip saying that Back and three others stole the bull for a New Year's Eve barbecue.

Back had previously denied taking part in the theft.
