Man cuts off victim's finger with bolt cutter, police officers say

Duo accused of drug dealing is arrested for multiple robberies

LOUISVILLE, Ky – A man is accused of using bolt cutters to cut off a robbery victim's finger, according to authorities in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Donnie Ashby and his partner in crime, Anna Patterson, are accused of holding three robbery victims at gun point. They tied them up with cords and pistol whipped them, according to police officers.

Ashby is accused of cutting off a victim's finger during the Thursday robberies. Police officers arrested the duo.

Ashby faced charges of  robbery, assault, unlawful imprisonment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in a controlled subtance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. 

Patters faced charges of robber, unlawful imprisonment, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and failure to maintain required insurance.
