Authorities identify 3 suspects accused of leading deputies on chase after armed robbery

Suspects accused of robbing Cash America Pawn before crashing stolen SUV

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Authorities have identified three men who were arrested Wednesday after Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said they led them on a chase following an armed robbery.

According to an arrest report, Andre Baptiste, Quinton Thomas and Djemsson Limage, all 22, committed an armed robbery at a Cash America Pawn store at 2880 N. State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes.

Deputies said Thomas acted as a lookout as Limage and Baptiste and Limage used hammers to break the glass counters to steal jewelry.

Authorities said the men placed the items in a black bag and left in a stolen Ford Explorer.

Deputies said they spotted the SUV and tried to pull it over, but the driver wouldn't stop.

Baptiste was let out of the vehicle at one point and ran into a home as his accomplices continued fleeing from authorities in the vehicle, the arrest report said.

Authorities said the SUV eventually crashed into multiple vehicles at the intersection of McNab Road and Rock Island Road in North Lauderdale.

Limage and Thomas were taken into custody at the scene, and Baptiste was arrested at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Hampton Boulevard, authorities said.

Deputies said multiple people were injured in the crash, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
