DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A ceiling partially collapsed on people inside a Dania Beach home Sunday night, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said a piece of drywall fell from the ceiling at 109 NW Sixth Ave. after heavy rain.
A woman and her 2-year-old granddaughter were laying in bed when the drywall fell.
The 2-year-old girl wasn't hurt, but her grandmother was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
