MIAMI – Miami police are asking the public to come forward with any information about the fatal shooting of a 53-year-old woman.
Police said Mercedes Esquijarosa was shot multiple times at about 4:30 a.m. July 15 in the area of 1875 SW 14th Terrace near Coral Way.

Police said Esquijarosa collapsed on a sidewalk and died.
A motive for the shooting is unknown.
Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
