Body of missing man pulled from water at Antonio Maceo Park, authorities say

MIAMI – The body of a man who was reported missing Tuesday was pulled from the water Thursday morning at Antonio Maceo Park, authorities said.

Miami police spokeswoman Yelitza Cedano said witnesses reported that a drunken man had fallen into the water Tuesday at the park at 5135 NW Seventh St. 

Cedano said authorities searched the water for the man, but couldn't find him.

Assistant Miami Fire Chief Pete Gomez said the body surfaced Thursday morning and was handed over to Miami police.

Authorities have not released the victim's name.
