FBI investigates blast at mosque after pickup truck speeds away

BLOOMIGNTON, Minn. – The FBI was searching for the person who threw a bomb through a window of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minneapolis, Saturday. 

Mohamed Omar, the executive director of the mosque, said a witness saw a driver in a pickup truck speed out of the parking lot after the blast, according to The Star Tribune

Although there were 15 to 20 people inside the mosque for early morning prayer, no one was injured. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was also investigating the incident.
