MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A former Miami-Dade police officer was arrested Monday on accusations that she impersonated a police officer for the second time.
According to an arrest report, the victim was worried about the well-being of her 21-year-old daughter, who she said had been going through some issues.

Police said the victim's long-time family mechanic referred her to Martha Aleman, 46, who he said could help with her daughter's problems.
The victim told officers that Aleman claimed to be an undercover detective and said that she would bring her sister, Silvia Trana, who she claimed was a psychologist, to a meeting at the victim's home on July 24.
The victim's daughter told police that she met up with Trana again on July 27, and she paid Trana $300 at the end of a two-hour "counseling session."
The victim told authorities that she later looked up Aleman online, and discovered on a news report that Aleman had recently been arrested by the City of Miami Police Department for allegedly impersonating a police officer.
In that case, police said Aleman followed a man into a gas station on Coral Way near Southwest 22nd Ave. in July after she had gotten into an argument with him while they were stuck in traffic.
Police said Aleman flashed a Miami-Dade police badge at the driver and told him that she was a police officer.
Police said officers arrived at the scene and Aleman once again identified herself as an officer.
Authorities said Aleman refused to show her identification to the officers, so they called the county to verify her claims, only to find out that she had resigned last year.
Authorities said Aleman's last day of employment with the Miami-Dade Police Department was Jan. 29, 2016.
