FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A BMW caught fire Tuesday night in a parking garage that is attached to a six-story apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said firefighters and police evacuated the building as the fire began to spread.

A photo taken at the scene shows the BMW engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, limiting the damage to the building.
Authorities said all residents were able to go back into their homes after the fire was extinguished and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
