MIAMI – A man was captured on surveillance cameras earlier this month robbing a gas station in Miami.
The robbery was reported at about 9:15 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Valero gas station at 2200 SW 27th Ave.
Miami police said the armed robber approached the counter, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded all of the money from inside the cash register.
Police said the clerk, who was in fear for her life, complied with the robber's demands and handed him all of the money in the register.
The thief grabbed the cash and fled south on Southwest 27th Avenue, authorities said.
