Miami police officer suffers two leg wounds

A Miami police officer was injured in this area shown on Google Maps near the rail road in Miami Thursday.

MIAMI – A City of Miami police officer was running after a man when he said a dog charged at him near the railroad tracks in Miami's Overtown neighborhood Thursday. The attack was quick and unexpected.

It wasn't a good day for the injured police officer. The man he was chasing after had already punched him and this ferocious attacker was a stray dog capable of carrying rabies.
