MIAMI – Firefighters evacuated their station in Miami's Allapattah neighborhood Friday night.
Lt. Iggy Carroll said they evacuated the City of Miami Fire Station 6 at 701 NW 36 St., near Moore Park, as a precaution.
A bomb squad investigated a package a man left behind after ringing the door bell and getting into a public bus. Caroll said that although they determined the package wasn't dangerous, police officers were still investigating the incident.
