WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Boynton Beach woman found guilty of hiring an undercover police officer, whom she thought was a hit man, to kill her husband will soon have a new permanent home at a state prison.
Dalia Dippolito is currently being held at the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala. She was convicted in June of solicitation to commit first-degree murder and later sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The facility is a temporary location for Dippolito until she is processed by the Florida Department of Corrections.
Dippolito, 34, was found guilty in her third murder-for-hire trial. She was seen on undercover surveillance video telling the undercover police detective that she was "5,000 percent sure" she wanted her then-husband dead in 2009.
The Boynton Beach Police Department staged a phony crime scene on the day that Dippolito's husband was supposed to be killed and recorded her reaction.
Dippolito's 2011 conviction and 20-year sentence were thrown out on appeal. Last year's trial ended with a 3-3 hung jury.
Her attorneys argued that police mishandled the investigation, accusing them of playing to the "Cops" cameras in hopes of becoming famous. It was a different defense from Dippolito's first trial, when her former attorney claimed that her actions were all in an effort to get on reality television.
Dippolito gave birth to a son while on house arrest between her second and third trials.
Her prison photograph was recently made available on the Florida Department of Corrections website.
