MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol closed the northbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike in southwest Miami-Dade County after a Saturday afternoon crash with several injuries.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was called at 5:09 p.m. to the scene of the crash involving an SUV that rolled over in the northbound lanes near Southwest 112th Avenue.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel said two children were ground-transported to nearby hospitals, and one woman and two other small children were taken by air rescue to trauma hospitals.
FHP troopers blocked all of the northbound lanes about 5:10 p.m.
