"A group of friends were walking alongside the sidewalk when an unknown person from inside a vehicle began shooting in their direction," Officer Kenia Fallat said.
Witnesses described said the vehicle was a dark color, but they told investigators that they couldn't see the make and model, according to Fallat.
Authorities identified the two victims as two males ages 15 and 29. Miami Fire Rescue personnel took them to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
