Snipers stand guard during holiday parade in Kendall

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – Miami-Dade Police Department snipers were on guard during Saturday's Miracle on 136th Street Holiday Parade at The Falls in Kendall. 

Hundreds of families attended the 21st annual event outside of the open-air shopping mall at 8888 SW 136 St., between Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. 

The recent ISIS-inspired terrorist attacks prompted authorities to increase security nationwide during this holiday season.
