MIAMI – Verizon users in South Florida woke up feeling a bit disconnected on Monday as a massive outage affected thousands across the state.
The outage appeared to have been centered in South Florida and the Tampa Bay area.

Without WiFi, many customers were unable to access their email or internet.
Verizon claims the issue was fixed at 8:45 a.m., however, users were still having problems with service at 9:30 a.m.
The outage was fully over by late morning.
