WESTON, Fla. ā A Walgreen's clerk in Weston stared down the barrel of a gun during a robbery attempt, forcing the would-be crook to leave the storeĀ without any money.
Security video shows a man in a red hoodie walking into the store at 1751 Bonaventure Boulevard on Dec. 4. The suspect grabs candy and ice cream before heading to the register.
While the clerk rang up the suspect's items, the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the clerk, demanding the money in the register. When the clerk refused to follow his orders, the suspect made the same demand.
The clerk simply stoodĀ there staring at the man and his gun without making a move or saying a word.
The robbery suspect then fled the scene with the candy and no money.
It is believed the suspect attempted a similar crime in Pembroke Pines on Tuesday.
