32-year-old man killed in Miami Gardens shooting

Victim pronounced dead at scene

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in Miami Gardens Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The shooting was reported in the area of Northwest 32nd Avenue and 208th Terrace.

Detectives said the victim, identified Wednesday as Jemuel Tremar Williams, was walking along the roadway when he was approached by someone on a bicycle.

Police said the shooter got off the bike and fired multiple shots at the victim before running away.

Miami Gardens spokeswoman Karen Clarke said Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to detectives, the gunman was seen on his bike prior to the shooting at the QuickStop convenience store at 3185 NW 207th St.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Miami Gardens Police Department at 305-474-1454 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
